Inn called the Devl's Cauldron

Small narrow streets in the village of Monestiés

In my last post, I had been out on a dawn shoot only for the clouds to roll in 10 minutes before dawn, leaving me with a blank grey sky and very flat light.

So if you don’t succeed, try and try again. So, yesterday, my last day on this road trip, it was all grey and misty but I rolled out of bed at 5:45 anyway and went out.

Again, it was very flat but this time I was early enough to catch the street lights a half hour or so before dawn …

Though the skies were rather flat (helped here by a bit of PS), I like the glow of the street lights. Not that spectacular dawn I was hoping for but still a good morning’s photography.

The real downside, though, was the Boulangerie still wasn’t open by the time I headed back to bed at 7:15#.

No warm croissant today!!!
