FAQs

FAQs

Q. Do I (the property owner) need to be present for the photo shoot?

A. You can be present if you choose. Alternatively, I can collect a key or meet a caretaker by arrangement.

Q. How will I get to see the photos after the shoot?

A. I will upload a gallery of sample photos to a private area on my website within 10 working days of the photo shoot.

Q. How long will the property shoot take?

A. The shortest property shoots takes 2 hours. The time required depends on the Package you choose and the size of your property.

Q. What do I (the property owner) need to do in advance of the shoot?

A. The property needs to be clean, neat and tidy as if it were ready to receive paying guests. This includes the pool and any outside space. To help make the most of the property shoot, you will receive a checklist, “Preparing your Holiday Home for Photographing”, when you make your booking.

Q. What happens if the weather is too bad for the photo shoot on the date arranged?

A. You and I both want the best and most appealing photos of your property in good weather. If the weather conditions are too bad on the day of the booking, we can postpone the shoot and agree a mutually convenient day in the future.

Q. What if I (the property owner) don’t like the photos?

A. It’s important to me that you are happy with the results of the photo shoot. I would hope that we could discuss any problems with a view to rectifying the situation as a first step in case additional post-processing of the photos is an option. However, should the photos not be to your liking, none of the photos would be released to you and I would provide a 100% refund.

Q. Can I use the photos in other ways once I have them?

A. The contract for use of the photos from a property shoot is specifically for promotion on the property for sale or rent. In addition, some of the Packages I offer include a set number of photographs to be supplied at a resolution suitable for printing in magazines. However, should you wish to put the photos to any other use, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Q. What is a property release form and why do I need to sign one before the property shoot?

A. By signing the property release form you are granting me permission to use or publish the photograph or video in one form or another. This is standard practise in the photography industry and whilst I will own the photos, you will be given a license to use them in a limited way for a specific purpose.

Q. Why do I have to pay in full before the property shoot?

A. My policy requires full payment in advance of the property shoot and confirms that you would like me to proceed on the agreed date. It also avoids any issues related to late-payment or non-payment. This policy goes hand in hand with my 100% money back guarantee if you’re not happy with your photos.

Q. What if I have a question that I can’t find here with an answer?

A. Get in touch. I’m here to help and look forward to hearing from you. Contact Me »
