Sunflowers seem to hold this fascination with many people and for me they remind me of smiley faces ….
I’m on a short road trip around the Tarn region, currently staying in a gorgeous little village called Monestiés. It’s too hot to wander around now but looking forward to an evening market and food stalls this evening.
Tomorrow, I think we’ll be holed up in the van as there are big storms due, so I’d better get round the village with the camera today.
Around the ancient town of Albi (that’s a history lesson in itself) there are fields and fields of happy sunflowers. Just had to stop and snap some smiling faces ….
